This print was one of my earliest paintings. I remember spending a lot of time looking at photos and videos of home cafés for inspiration, studying how different drinks are layered and what they are made of.

People sometimes assume these paintings are made digitally because of their symmetry, but they are not! Each design is created by hand using pencil, ruler and compass. For many paintings I also make my own stencils to help achieve symmetry, but as everything is handmade, small imperfections remain visible on closer inspection. The charm of handmade art!
