Shimmering Morning Star - Bookmark/Card

A warm, sunny and golden morning, the best start of a new day. This series of bookmarks (or small cards) is inspired by those moments of first light. Each "morning star" glows with warm yellow and orange gradients, finished with golden and silver details that shimmer and shine, capturing the feeling of a day just beginning.

Each star varies in size and shape and comes in protective packaging. This one is around 11,5cm in height and width.

Care note: The foiled details are securely fused to the ink on the paper and made to last. Still, paper and water are not friends, just as with the pages of your book. Please handle with dry hands and keep away from moisture, as water can cause the foil to crumple once it soaks into the paper.

These morning stars began as pencil drawings, carefully measured with ruler and compass. They were then transformed into fountain pen line drawings, scanned at high quality, and turned into the silver lines on each star. The oranges and yellows were created as digital compositions, printed at high quality to achieve smooth and warm gradients. The golden sparkles were also made digitally, enhancing the glowing presence of the stars. These golden and silver layers were printed and foiled separately. A time-consuming, meticulous process in which hand-drawn craftsmanship and digital techniques come together to truly bring the stars to life and make them shine!
